With over 15 years of international documentary and broadcast experience, we work across English, French, and Mandarin, creating films rooted in real human stories.
Our background trained us to work with moments that do not repeat, people who cannot be directed like actors, and stories that require both judgment and sensitivity.

No. In fact, many of the people we film tell us at first that they are uncomfortable being filmed. Our approach is quiet, adaptive, and sensitive to each person’s comfort level. We do not force performance. We look for truth, not polish.
Not at all. Many clients come to us with a feeling rather than a fully formed idea. Part of our work is helping shape the story, the form, and the visual direction together.
It depends on the type of project and the season, but earlier is always better, especially for date-specific events. For more conceptual films, early conversations also give us more room to develop the story properly.
Each project is different, but in most cases the process includes an initial conversation, story development, filming, and post-production. We will give you a realistic timeline once we understand the scope of the film. For sports competition coverage, delivery timelines are provided separately at registration.
We are based in Ottawa, but we are open to selected projects in other locations depending on the story, schedule, and scope.
